You can encrypt the articles saved with CyberArticle.
Right click right on the selected node. A multi-selection
is allowed. In the context menu, select "Set/Reset
Password". Then, a password dialog will
be displayed.
In the password dialog, enter the password need to be set for the articles
and then click "OK". The articles are encrypted now. In the
future, if you want to view the enrypted articles, the password need to be
entered.
Options
- Encypt Articles in Sub-folders: Encypt the articles in the selected folder
and sub-folders;
- Encrypt Title: Encrypt the title of the article and then the title of the
article will be displayed as "Encrypted Title" in the list;
- Encrypt URL: Encrypt the source URL of the article and then the URL of the
article will be displayed as "Encrypted URL" in the list.
Clear password
Click "Clear Password" button to decrypt the article which has been
encypted and clear the password of the article as well.
Notice:
- In case that an article has been set a password, the old
password of the article need to be entered in order to either reset or
clear the password;
- In case that a password for an article has been entered, you may set
whether the password need to be re-entered when the article is reviewed
next time;
- In case that a same passward has been employed for several
articles, you may set whether it is allowed to enter the password only
once.
Advanced
- AES256 is used in CyberArticle to encrypt articles in the purpose
that your articles will not be decrypted without the correct
password. Therefore, please keep your password well.
Otherwise, articles could not be decrypted;
- If your articles are very important, we suggest using this method to
encrypt them in order to ensure your articles safe.
